CompeteSoft, Inc. incorporated in February of 2007.  The ROOTS of the firm reach into late 2002 when the Xbox gaming system emerged and solutions were developed to support competitive team play on the console requiring innovation and invention to create solutions to new problems presented by the new online gaming consoles in the market.

2002-2006 / TeamCompete / www.TeamCompete.com---  Launched in early 2003 to a community of gamers looking for a more robust online team based solution for their gaming.  Grew via viral marketing and word of mouth only to over 200,000 Xbox Live gamers over a 21/2 year span.  Innovated technical and gaming solutions that were copied by most online sites and set the standards for most of today’s online console competitive play

  • - Comprehensive season, playoff and ranking system to foster participation and recognition
  • - Multiple challenge methods under a completely original challenge and match reporting system
  • - First of a kind Red List system for tracking and trapping identity scammers and malicious personalities online
  • - First PodCast (TeamTalk) for online leagues and player recognition
  • - First Web-TV (TC-TV) supporting member provided match summary and game related video sharing
  • - Innovated a “Player Card” subsequently incorporated as a standard feature in the Microsoft Xbox Live service
  • - Innovated an integrated messenger (TCMessenger) utilizing multiple IM services for member connectivity
  • - Innovated community/league promotions
  • - Architected and launched a comprehensive PRO-League complete with minor leagues, home/away scheduling, home fields, scouting reports, etc.
  • - Experimented with an Olympics style of team based play (TCArena) for solo play games
  • - Innovated Player Rating System based on match feedback on all participants on each team—enabled “All Star” selection and All-Star matches
  • - Microsoft ASP based solutions; Browser based user interface

2006-2007 / Major League Gaming / www.mlgpro.com---  Architected, developed and launched the MLG Online Tournaments solution that added an online capability to the corporate on-site events conducted annually.  Microsoft ASP based solutions; Browser based user interface

  • - Innovated the taking of credits for event participation payments
  • - Incorporated best-of-breed online tournament features into the core product offering.
  • - Innovated a Tournament Ranking for participants enabling more fair and  balanced seeding in future events
  • - Microsoft ASP based solutions; Browser based user interface

2006-2007 / Xleague / www.xleague.tv--- Architected, developed and project managed online league from concept to implementation in less than 4 months.  This is the first UK based, subscription based membership community with a sister Xleague TV channel on the Sky satellite network.  Developed corporate infrastructure for client and remained under contract to provide user support and community development consulting post launch.

  • - Innovated a Club structure in addition to playing teams to match European gaming/sports approaches
  • - Incorporated pool play and knock out tournament formats for a new season playoff model
    - Developed “banner manager” allowing clubs to create graphics crests for their logo/identity
    - Linked Online gaming leagues with TV Channel broadcasting gaming matches and lifestyle
    - Developed interface to bring Web-TV and User Video into online gaming site
    - 20,000 users in the first 90 days of operation
    - Microsoft .NET solutions; Browser based user interface

2008-2010+ StripesGamer / www.stripesgamer.com--- Licensed our newest competitive gaming solution to StripesGamer.com, a company created in part by Stars & Stripes, the largest military newspaper in the world. With our newest gaming system in hand, we had finally combined the community functions with the competition systems in ways that had not been done before. This project was just recently released and there will be much more to come!

  • - Redefined the insignia creation process
    - Architected and develop(ing) proprietary series of modules such as blogs, achievements, and friends that can be independantly used within other, non-game related projects
  • - Integrated a forum into the solution
  • - Developed a full administrative module that gives total control to the administrators of the site
