 CASE STUDY HIGHLIGHTS

Wristbands.net was not the largest project CompeteSoft has ever taken on nor the most complex. However, the overall project was rated Complex to Very Difficult because of the challenges on both time and by the level of uniqueness. The technical challenges were based on the level of integration with an open source shopping cart system, Virtuemart and the dynamic creation of products on the fly through custom configuration by the user. The creative challenge was to design an exceptionally user friendly interface giving the customers the ability to design their own wristbands. This required integration with flash to design a dynamically generated wristband in a preview window. However, the most difficult challenge was to do this in a five week time period for the first phase. In all cases, this project went smooth and was effective across the board. We are already working on the next phases of development and expect a lot of growth from this client as well as their related business ventures.

Here are a few of the feature highlights:

• Easy navigation structure and information windows tied to the article system of Joomla
• Flash Preview window tied dynamically to the selection of product style, type, colors, and other adjustable product features
• Support 2 or more Upload Artwork options plus an unlimited library of artwork that you can upload to for your customers to use in personalizing their product
  
•  Text Font Size, Font Type control and the ability to add new font to support 
• Pan-Tone color system so that orders can come in using real pantone colors for placement to manufacturer 
• Creates an image of the final design in .JPG format and stores in their My Order area of the site.
• Share with Friends and Share on Facebook Social Networking function ready to go!
• Customizable Attributes designed to offer add-ons to the product that are not necessary for the main preview window (such as packaging, business card add in, data size for USB etc)
