CompeteSoft can be viewed as a staff augmentation resource or outsourced service firm offering expertise, experience and skilled resources to augment and/or complement your technical and project management needs.  As such, we absolutely strive to earn your TRUST while we learn your business needs.  Everything we do starts with this trust and an understanding of YOUR NEEDS.

  • On-time, on-budget, honest, objective and focused on the needs of the client.  Listen to the BUSINESS NEEDS being expressed---or dig to learn them.  Do it as you would be doing it for your own company.
  • Charge a fair price for the expertise and services provided.  Custom work is not the same as shrink wrap software product sales.  Competing to be the lowest cost provider is a losing proposition for all parties.
  • Only work with people you can trust and hold them to the same high standard you set for yourself. 
  • Do it right the first time and expect referrals and additional work to follow.  EARN the client’s business the first time around and make it hard for them to NOT refer you to associates.
    • We say what we can and will do and we do what we say we will do---it is not a cute statement….we live by it.
    • If we cannot do it, we identify that early and discuss with the client.  If that kills the deal, so be it.  Don’t get in over your head and risk failure in the process.

    We've done business on a handshake and we've been bogged down for months going back and forth with multiple versions of complex contracts that did nothing to further the goals stated above.  We strive to be straight forward and up-ftont.....the same as what you would expect if we were an employee within your firm.  

    Our VALUES are fairly straight forward:  We say what we do and we do what we say.  You can trace the lineage to the Code of the West which guides our business relationships and approach to providing fair, reasonably priced services and honest advice to our clients.

    Our approach has been forming for many years across various work environments but the STRONGEST INFLUENCE that can be seen is that of the original "Rules of the Garage" formed by Hewlett and Packard in Palo Alto, CA when they were a startup business literally working out of the garage.  It is included for you to review and reflect upon WHAT IS IMPORTANT with the project you are considering where we might be able to help you.
