CompeteSoft is generally engaged to participate DURING the planning process or is brought in right AFTER completion of the base plan. In either instance, a limited engagement to assess and recommend generally initiates the relationship. Consulting? Not specifically. Our menu of services doesn’t have “Consulting” highlighted as a primary offering because we focus more on the DOING and DELIVERY aspects of projects, but that doesn’t mean that we are not proficient and talented consultants in our own right. We are. It just means we are not out to position our key value proposition as competing against pure consulting firms for front-end design work exclusively.
We’re a project firm that can also perform extensive credible consulting and marketing support services. This gets us to the heart of each project as viewed from a business perspective first and a software solution as a means to addressing the business requirements.
By contrast, most specialized consulting firms cannot deliver as broad nor as deep a level of planning, implementation and support experience comparable to CompeteSoft. And we find that distinction quite powerful as a determinant to our core value proposition. We have discovered it essential to be as involved in the business planning process as possible to enable us to add as much value on the product and services side of the implementation as we can.
We’ll give you our advice and recommendations throughout the project along with our best services and technical expertise to ensure delivery of the RIGHT solution that fits your company and solves your business needs. And we’ll contract with you on a fixed price, Time-and-Materials or other structured arrangement that is flexible enough to keep your firm and CompeteSoft working together for a common goal.
