2002-2006
CompeteSoft.com evolved from the experiences (many of them painful “character builders”)  gained while conceiving (and in many cases inventing), developing, launching and supporting an extensive online gaming community at TeamCompete.com in the 2002-2006 timeframe.  The lessons learned while building and managing this dynamic and diverse online community and in creating the web services to meet the social networking as well as the competitive gaming interests of the community have become the foundation for the consultative, development and support services offerings we bring to the market today as CompeteSoft.com.

2007
CompeteSoft.com opened shop as a solution builder and outsourced service provider for gaming and online competitive events in early 2007.  Based on the market growth and size projections for competitive and online gaming the online gaming niche became the start point and focus for our business development efforts.  As the opportunities grew, it became apparent that MANY of the core capabilities and core application modules developed for gaming would be applicable to any number of other applications and industries with minimal modification.

2008-2011
CompeteSoft expanded into numerous vertical markets including real estate, social media sites, sports, travel, energy, and many others. Since our initial gaming market focus, CompeteSoft has expanded to become far more encompassing and business process centered in most projects undertaken. Consulting and Scope design has become a much larger portion of our business and has become a staple of what we routinely provide for our clients. We don't develop websites as a line of business;  we plan, architect, build, and deliver comprehesive web solutions around the needs of each individual client and business.  Obviously redesign and feature additions to web sites will be involved in most projects in some fashion.

Looking Ahead to 2012- +
Businesses of all size and in every industry segment are struggling to keep up with the online requirements necessary to remain ahead of their competitiors using SEO, PPC and Social Networking sites.  (we are not all that different ourselves BTW). CompeteSoft has developed a team of experts able to provide services ranging from consulting/advisory services, planning and assessment services and task outsourcing including hands-on management of your SEO, PPC, Blog/article creation, Social Site managment and other specialty skills that can be performed in concert with your operations staff in a highly efficient and specialized manner.  

Additionally, mobile applications and smart phone/tablet based interaction with businesses at all levels are now the norm and not simply lead-edge prototypes or proofs of concept.  CompeteSoft can handle the complete range of motile solution design, development and implementation....we're anticipating a significant % of all future service business we're brought in to provide will ental both mobile and SEO/Social Site management technical, marketing and business expertise and knowledge.

The influence of competitive online play combined with the development skills (and experience) necessary to bring together technologies, support systems and community/networking tools (currently referred to as “Social Networking”) and mobile delivery of services can be found in most of what we see going forward as our “Core” service offerings.

The Managing Partners of the firm individually have extensive (as in 14-35 years each) technical, marketing and business development backgrounds with particular emphasis on project planning, software development, project implementation and user (community) support in diverse industries.  NeoSur, the software development arm of CompeteSoft has been innovating and implementing competitive gaming solutions as part of the team for over 9 years currently.  They have extensive practical experience gained in many different industries and with a broad range of technologies and applications while building and implementing projects over the past 12 years.
